Just a quick newsletter this week to let you all know that WFA v1.1 has been
released. This version has a few tweaks to it. For instance, the Engineer's
magnotron grenade now does no damage... okay calm down stop throwing stuff
at me Engies. The trade-off is that grapplers now will have a tough time
grappling away when they get caught in the magnetic pull of the grenade.

There are some bug fixes, like the infinite laser bug. I thankfully never
saw it, but I heard about its effect on the game. :(

The WFA-STA league http://sta-wfa.eabof.com/ is rocking and rolling. There
is also a good ladder at http://www.ogl.org. WFA-Scorched Earth league is
entering playoffs this week. Check out the standings on that at
http://www.planetice.net/arclite/se

Played in some intense WFA matches today on Visi =PCI= server. There are
also some Freelance Map Servers running out there. Make sure you do a total
refresh of gamespy and grab the 2 map packages from the WFA site.

PC Gamer hit news stands today, please be kind to the newbies that will be
hitting the servers. Just imagine how much help you can be if you point them
to the WFA site for answers to their questions on configs, strats, etc...
